JACKSONVILLE – The Jacksonville Sharks and the Arena Football League announced that the League has recognized the Sharks’ Medical Staff as the Sports Medicine Program of the Year for the 2014 season.

“The tireless work of our medical team is absolutely vital to our organization,” Sharks Operating Manager Jeff Bouchy said. “We are proud to accept this recognition, and would like to personally thank our entire medical team for their phenomenal work both this season and over the course of our first five seasons. We encourage all Sharks fans put their health care in the hands of our wonderful medical partners. We trust them to keep our players on the field, so you should trust them with your everyday health care needs.”

Under the direction of Director of Sports Medicine Joshua Gregoire and Team Physician Kevin M. Kaplan, MD, the Sharks’ medical staff provides multi-faceted care for Sharks players and staff throughout the calendar year. In 2014, the medical staff excelled in all aspects of overall medical care, including day-to-day maintenance, injury treatment and rehabilitation.
